| The tension can be felt, rumors are spreading. It feels like the city is preparing itself for the final battle. Office workers leave the work early, companies are busy preparing emergency plans. After this weekend there will be a different scenario, no more standstill which dominated Bangkok during the last six weeks. |

Dental Check-Up |

Unbeatable return on investment
When plaque and tartar are allowed to build up in your mouth just below the gum line, your gums will eventually move away from your teeth and form pockets in your mouth, which will fill with even more plaque. This build-up leads to periodontal diseases. Bacteria will cause an inflammation of your gums (Gingivitis) and if that is not treated, it will eventually lead to a break-down of the bone and connective tissue which keeps your teeth in place.
Prevention is much cheaper than treatment. Unbelievably so. Even in Thailand. Besides brushing and flossing, the most important thing you can do to prevent or at least slow down the disease that affects more than half of the adult population is regular professional cleaning of your teeth. That costs time and a little money. Not to do it will cost more time and unproportionately more money in your future. Trust me, I learned the hard way.
Have a dentist do the cleaning
and perform the check-up at the same time. Since she will work on every tooth, she will notice if other work is needed. Make sure that when you book an appointment, you let them know that you want a dentist for the job and not an oral hygienist.
If you have a good set of recent x-rays, bring it along. It will reduce your exposure to radiation.
After you have read choose a clinic check out the web sites of the facilities listed under Bangkok's top clinics and see which site addresses your specific needs the best.
